Welcome To SloppyPerfect Art Studio
Abstract paintings on canvas, wood, silk and vintage sheet music that are inspired by natural elements, the universe, poetry and travels around the world. Each painting carries a narrative of a journey, possibility and an exploration of nature’s seasons.
Diana's creative process involves multiple stages and it can take several months to complete a painting. Diana describes her approach as a co-creation with the painting, where she listens to its call and adds to it when she feels inspired. This allows her to explore and let the painting evolve over time.
One of the things that sets her apart are her paintings on wood panels. She is specifically attracted to pieces of wood that have imperfections or blemishes which others may reject.
It is in those imperfections and blemishes where she sees potential for beauty while others may see flaws. This gives her artwork a distinct and personal touch.

it's about more than just the art you put on your walls.
It's about curiosity, an experiment, a story, a conversation... all infused with a feeling of joy and possibility. It is a gathering place for those looking for inspiration and creative belonging.
"Sloppyperfect" is the metaphor that the artist, Diana Fleysher, chose for her art and her studio. It prioritizes joy with a whimsical twist, embracing imperfection and allowing oneself to explore and create without overanalyzing. It encourages a playful approach to one's artistic pursuits and life in general, emphasizing the importance of starting and taking small steps rather than getting caught up in overthinking or self-judgment. It's about finding joy and possibility in the process and letting the art and life lead where it may.
Love Notes
“
I am fortunate enough to own several pieces by Diana Fleysher. I receive frequent comments from guests on how beautiful they are.But what I love most about them is that every time I look at them, they are different. Depending on the lighting, the time of day, the weather, the music I’m listening to, the person I’m with, or even my own mood. I notice different details. But no matter what the circumstances, they always bring me joy. Thank you, Diana!
